When They Are Gone
I often sit and wonder why we waste so much time. Specifically with those whom we love. We are all aware that this, too, will end. But yet we allow things that are great and that are minor to wedge themselves between moments we can not regain.
We spend time grappling with our emotions, genuine feelings, that hold us captive from what we know to be true. Life is simply a vapor, appearing for a little time, and then vanishing away. And when it is gone, we soberly realize that the time we had was never enough.
If we were given the choice, to take all the calculated minutes spent outside of communion with those we love, and trade them in for more moments, would we? Or would we choose to hold steadfast to those things that divide?
Today, spend time more wisely, learn lessons faster, and love with deeper purpose. Remember, new moments in this lifetime are not promised. - Macknificent World
Tomorrow, I Will Find You
Next time, I will find you sooner. Because tomorrow I will know what to look for.
I will know to look with my ears.
To see the power and intent behind words spoken and unspoken.
Tomorrow, my sight will be more clear, and my ability to listen more focused.
Next time, I will find you sooner,
Because tomorrow I will know what to listen for.
I will know to listen for my heart.
For the mouth speaks things outwardly.
But the heart, it speaks things inwardly, and I am at its controls.
Tomorrow, my heart will be more tuned and capable of picking up your frequency.
Next time, I will find you sooner.
Because tomorrow I will know what love is.
I will know that love has always lived inside me. And when I unleash it on myself first, my ability to be love and be loved is ever more magnified.
Tomorrow, my love will realize that your love has always been there, right there, all this time within me.
Next time, I will find you sooner. - Macknificent World
I Wish You The Best
"I wish you the best," they said.
Same as the last, and the one before them.
Oh, how those words have been scatter like stars to the sky over my lifetime.
"I wish you the best," offered as a sweet parting gratuity, for soul services rendered.
"I wish you the best," crawls through the years of your mind, asking, were these words ever genuine or simply a clique presented in the collapsing moment?
Will we ever understand?
And then there was you. - Macknificent World
